Alumni Committee
Description
The Alumni committee organizes activities in the name of the aEB Foundation (alumni Economics and Business) of which primarily consist of lectures with a social and company visits. These activities are usually in the “Randstad”, where most of the alumni are also located now, and have a social character with content. The committee also gives alumni the possibility to get to know more about a theme in depth or new developments on their specialization. Within this committee there are plenty possibilities for innovation and organizing several (new) activities. This committee is a collaboration between the Faculty, the aEB and the EBF and as a committee member you will be actively be involved in the aEB foundation’s policy.
Positions
An overview of the functions and specific responsibilities for each committee member is presented below:
Chairman
- Is responsible for contact with the alumni officer of the faculty,
- Has a supporting and facilitating role,
- Is responsible for general coordination,
- Is responsible for teambuilding/bonding.
- Is responsible for the contact with the aEB Foundation.
Treasurer/Commercial Relations II
- Is responsible for the budget,
- Is responsible for acquiring subsidies,
Public Relations
- Is responsible for the registrations,
- Is responsible for the promotion of the event,
- Is responsible for actively maintaining the Social media
- Is responsible for maintaining the aEB Groningen Website.
Commercial Relations I
- Is responsible for the company visits,
- Is responsible for maintaining contact with the companies.
Day organisation/Secretary
- Is responsible for managing the events itself,
- Is responsible for organizing the events,
- Is responsible for facilitating the speakers and the companies on the day
- Is responsible for writing a daydescription for the aEB.
Workload
The workload fort his committee is around 3-5 hours a week and prior experience within the EBF is mandatory.
When
This committee continues the whole year. Every half year the committee changes and you will be in the committee for at least one year.
