What exactly does a Boardyear at the EBF entail?
If you choose to do an EBF Boardyear you will experience a very intensive year, in which you will learn immensely much and will get to know a lot of people. A boardyear is very versatile, challenging and informative. Per function the tasks are very different, but the general aspects of your boardyear entail amongst other things committee guidance, functional deliberation and boardmeetings. In the latter you discuss the current affairs within the association with your board weekly, and together you take important decisions. Furthermore you attend a lot of activities from EBF Committees and subassociations, and together with everyone on the interimbuilding you have a great time.
If you choose for this Boardyear, you will be occupied fulltime for a year and will have to put your studies on hold. For the delay you will receive a compensation.

Division of Functions
The EBF Board consists of 7 boardmembers. As a boardmember you will gain a lot of experience in one year. You will learn to think strategically, how to work in a team and how to develop yourself better than your studies ever could. After this boardyear you will have knowlegde and experience you can use the rest of your life!

Selection Procedure
In April 2012 is the deadline for applying for the application procedure for the EBF Board 2012-2013.
The application procedure consists of two interviews and preparing a case.
In May the Candidate Chairmand for the EBF Board 2012-2013 is announced, and beginning of June the rest of the Candidate board is also announced.
