What is de EBF?

The Economics and Business student Faculty association (EBF) is the faculty association for all students studying at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Groningen. Each year we organise various activities for our members, both informal and formal.

EBF Introduction Weekend

If you are a first-year student starting at the Faculty of Economics and Business,  you can immediately apply to be a member of the EBF. If you do this in the beginning of the year, you can also apply for the Introduction Weekend. Every year, hundreds of new first-year students apply to go to this weekend, making it the perfect way to get to know your fellow studymates. You can apply for this weekend on the your registration form to become an EBF Member: tick the box next to "First year" and then "Introduction camp". Click here to go to this registration form.

Please note: For Econometrics and Operations Research students a separate Introduction Weekend is organised by VESTING. Visit http://www.vestingintroductie.nl/ for more information and to register!

EBF Booksale

Furthermore, as a firstyear student you can order all of your books for the first block. You can do when filling in your application form to become an EBF Member, by ticking the box that says "I want to order books". When you have ticked this box, all of the books for your courses for your study are automatically ordered for block 1.1. You can pick up these books at the EBF Booksale on the 4th of September 2012. PLEASE NOTE: You do NOT have to order your books online via the EBF Webshop if you are a first-year student. Ticking the box in your registration is enough.

In case you do not need one of the books, you can indicate this when you pick up your books and we will remove it. You can pay for your books when you pick them up by card. International students can also pay cash.

DEADLINE TO ORDER: 31ST of August 2012 at 12.00! After the deadline you can only order books by coming to the Booksale in the Aletta Jacobshal on the 4th of September 2012 or by ordering via the home delivery webshop: www.ebfgroningen.nl/booksale-homedelivery!
