ResearchResearch theme: Play the Planet; the Desirability of GlobalizationThe main goal of the ESR project is the experience of doing research in an international setting. The research theme of this year is: Play the Planet, the Desirability of Globalization. Globalization is the process of increasing the connectivity and interdependence of the world’s markets and businesses. Hungary is located in Central-Europe and is not comparable with other Eastern European countries concerning the economy. They are a growing economy and it is therefore interesting to investigate the globalization of this economy. The research will be done by the 25 participants, they will be divided into five groups. Each group will study a subtheme. The ESR project is for all economics and business students, so the themes will contain economics and business related subjects. During a period of eight weeks before the trip, participants will make a research proposal (or design) for their subtheme. The research will be led by two academics and the research coordinator of the committee. During the period of eight weeks, these academics will give lectures about the research theme and research methodology. | |
