Executive Board Brazil

The Executive Board is responsible for the organization and execution of the International Business Research project to Brazil 2012.

Janine van Bree (21) has finished her bachelor’s degree in Business Studies (Bedrijfskunde) last summer. She has an international background, as she has lived in Curacao for 6 years and in New York for 3 years. In the fall of 2010 she spent half a year studying in Calgary. She can’t get enough of the international environment and will spend an entire year fulfilling the role of Chairman of IBR Brazil 2012.

Karin Ritsema (22) finished her bachelor degree International Economics & Business last summer. The urge to discover the world has not been satisfied yet, even though having been an exchange student in the USA after she finished her high school and a semester at Copenhagen Business School last year. For IBR Brazil, Karin will fulfill the role of both Vice-Chairman and Treasurer. Hence, she will be the internal contact for the participating professors and students and will take care of all financial aspects.

Kim Durieux (21) is studying International Business & Management. During her third year she traveled abroad to study one semester at the University of Lima in Peru, where besides studying she also learned Spanish. Currently, she is finishing her studies while fulfilling the function of PR and Travel Coordinator. Hence, all promotion material is created by her. Also, she will be responsible for the organisation of the trip and the group's stay in Brazil.

Pieter Bot (21) has just finished his bachelor degree of International Economics and Business with distinction Cum Laude. He has already gained international experience while studying a semester in the USA. Pieter decided to postpone his studies to fulfil the challenging role of External Relations for the IBR Brazil 2012. Together with Tim Kalisvaart, he will be responsible for the contact with the companies and the market research reports.

Tim Kalisvaart (21) is responsible for the External Relations together with Pieter Bot. Having gained experience living and studying in an international environment by going on an exchange semester to Hong Kong, he is ready for the challenging IBR project. Before joining IBR he was active as a student assistant and one of EBF’s (student faculty organization) committees.
