Dr. E.H. van Leeuwen is a teacher at the faculty of economics and business, University of Groningen. Heteachesat the department of Global Economics and Management inGroningen, is a programme coördinator for International Economics and Business and since 2008 also the coordinator for the first year of Economics and Business Economics. Next to this, he has published interesting academic literature and has supervised the IBR India in 2006-2007, and the IBR Argentina in 2008-2009.

 

Dr. B.J.W. Pennink is an assistant professor at the faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen. Being an expert in qualitative research methodology, local economic research development and dialogue in management teams he engages in many different research projects. These are international projects such as Reds (Indonesia, Local Economic Development), Capacity Development projects (Tanzania, Fiscal Decentralization) and Mobile BioFull Developments (Indonesia, Technology push and local economic development). On top of this, Dr. Pennink has also supervised the IBR China 1993-1994, IBR Vietnam 2001-2002, IBR Mexico 2002-2003 and the IBR Brazil 2006-2007. The focus of his research lies on local economic development process and empirical data collection on Management styles. Next to his interesting research and remarkable academic publications, he also teaches on Organizational Structure, Research Rethodology and Management for Humanitarian Action in the NOHA program all at the University of Groningen.
