Want to discover the business world in the region of Groningen? Apply now for the EBF/FMF ‘Discover the Eemshaven’ event, which will take place on Wednesday the 19th of April. During this event, you will visit Holland Trading Group and the chemical plant of AkzoNobel. This will give you a sense of the economic and business opportunities in the Eemshaven and Delfzijl. The region entails many large shipping and energy-related companies.

The event is organized by the EBF (Economics and Business Faculty association) and the FMF (Fysisch-Mathematische Faculteitsvereniging) in Groningen. This means that of the 20 participating students, about half will be EBF members and half FMF members. The program of the day will be as follows:

9:15 Departure from Zernike
10:00 – 13:30 Visit Holland Trading Group, including lunch
14:00 – 17:00 AkzoNobel Delfzijl
18:00 Departure to Groningen, around 18:45 arrival at Zernike

All students can apply. The whole program will be in English. The selection of participants will be done by Holland Trading Group based on study and year.
